Rabbit : ఆకాశం రాలిపడింది!
అనగనగా ఒక అడవి. ఆ అడవిలో ఓ పిరికి, భయస్తురాలైన కుందేలుండేది. మెరుపు మెరిసినా, వాన వచ్చినా, గాండ్రింపులు వినపడినా.. పక్షుల కూతలు గట్టిగా వినపడినా భయపడేది.
అనగనగా ఒక అడవి. ఆ అడవిలో ఓ పిరికి, భయస్తురాలైన కుందేలుండేది. మెరుపు మెరిసినా, వాన వచ్చినా, గాండ్రింపులు వినపడినా.. పక్షుల కూతలు గట్టిగా వినపడినా భయపడేది.
ఒళ్లంతా చెమటలు పట్టేది. దాని స్వభావం అందరికీ తెలుసు. అయితే కుందేలు మనస్తత్వం మంచిదని మిగతా జంతువులు సర్దుకుపోయేవి.
కుందేలుకు ధైర్యం నూరిపోసేవి. కొన్నాళ్ల తర్వాత కుందేలుకి బయటనుంచి తెచ్చుకున్న ధైర్యం వచ్చింది.
తానూ ధైర్యం ప్రదర్శించాలనుకుంది. అయినా తనకి తగిన లక్షణం కూడా కాదని తెలిసి గంభీరంగా ఉండటానికి ప్రయత్నించేది.
అసలే వేసవికాలం. మామిడిచెట్టు కింద మామిడిపండు తిని నిద్రపోయింది. పండిన మామిడిపండు వచ్చి కుందేలు నడ్డి మీద పడింది. కుందేలు బిత్తరపోయింది.

ఆకాశం విరిగి తలమీద పడుతోందనే భ్రమ వచ్చింది. బతుకు జీవుడా.. అని పరిగెత్తింది.
కొంచెం పరిగెత్తుతూనే జింక ఎదురైంది. ‘ఆకాశం పైనుంచి..’ అంటూ తడబడుతూ పరిగెత్తుతోంది. ఏదో పెద్ద విషయమే జరిగిందని జింక పరిగెత్తింది బిత్తరపోయి.
మిగతా జింకలు వీటి వెనకాల పరిగెత్తుతున్నాయి. అలా జిరాఫీలు, కంచరగాడిదలు, కోతులు.. అన్నీ ‘ఆకాశం మీద నుంచి..’ అంటూ పరిగెత్తుతున్నాయి. ఎవరికీ ఏ విషయం తెలీదు. నిజమైన సమాచారం తెలీదు. అయినా పరిగెత్తుతున్నాయి.
గుహలో పడుకుని అడవికి రాజైన సింహం నిద్రపోతోంది. అడవిలోని చప్పుడు విని బయటకు వచ్చింది. జంతువులన్నీ వేగంగా పరిగెత్తుతున్నాయి.
మట్టిపెళ్లలు, రాళ్లు, చెట్టకొమ్మలు తగులుతూ చప్పుళ్లు వినపడుతున్నాయి.
‘ఎందుకు మీరంతా పరిగెత్తుతున్నారు? మిమ్మలను తరుముతున్నారా? ఎవరైనా’ అని అడిగింది సింహం. అందరూ ఏమో అంటున్నారు.
‘ఎందుకు మీరంతా పరిగెత్తుతున్నారు? మిమ్మలను తరుముతున్నారా? ఎవరైనా’ అని అడిగింది సింహం. అందరూ ఏమో అంటున్నారు.
అయితే ఎవరూ చెప్పటం లేదు. సింహం గట్టిగా నవ్వింది. ‘ఎవరు చూశారు.. ఆ ఆకాశం మీద పడింది’ అంటూ గట్టిగా అరిచాడు.
‘నేను చూశాను మహారాజా’ అంటూ కుందేలు ముందుకు వచ్చింది. ‘ఏదీ చూపించు..’ అని కేవలం ధైర్యంగా ఉండే పులి, ఖడ్గమృగము లాంటి జంతువులను మాత్రమే వెంట తీసుకుని ఆ చోటుకు వెళ్లింది. ‘ఇక్కడే ఆకాశం మీద నుంచి విరిగి పడింది’ అన్నది కుందేలు.
‘ఆకాశం మీదనుంచి మామిడిపండు పడింది. మామిడిపండు పడితే ఆకాశంలో ముక్క విరిగినట్లేనా?’ అంటూ కోపంగా అర్చింది. ఆ క్షణంలో కుందేలు తలెత్తుకోలేకపోయింది.
ఇతర జంతువులను చూడటానికి సిగ్గుపడింది. ‘క్షమించండి’ అంటూ మిత్రులందరినీ వేడుకుంది.

This Short Story The Bonded Donkey is quite interesting to all the people. Enjoy reading this story.
In a small village, there lived a potter. He had a donkey. Everyday his donkey would carry soil from the field to his house. Since the field was quite far off, the potter would rest under a tree midway, tying his donkey nearby.
One day, the potter forgot to take the rope with which he tied the donkey everyday. When he reached the tree, he thought, “How do I tie this donkey today? He might run away if I sleep.
“The potter decided to tie down holding the donkey’s ears so that the donkey would not run away.
But this way neither the donkey was comfortable nor the potter was able to take rest. A saint, who happened to be passing by, saw the potter holding on to the donkey’s ears.
Then the saint wanted to know what the problem of the potter was. When the potter told the saint what the problem was, the wise saint said, “Take the donkey to the place where you tie him everyday. Pretend to tie him using an imaginary rope.
I assure you he won’t run away." The potter did what the saint had said.
He left the donkey and went to take a nap. When he woke up, to his surprise and relief, he found the donkey standing in the same place.
Soon the potter prepared to leave for home. But the donkey did not move. “What is wrong with this donkey!" exclaimed the potter in frustration.
Luckily, the potter saw the wise saint again. He ran up to the saint and told him about the donkey’s strange behavior. The saint said, “You tied up the donkey, but did you untie him?"
Go and pretend to untie the rope with which you had tied the donkey." The potter followed the saint’s advice.
Now the donkey was ready to leave for home. The potter understood that donkey
was the bonded donkey. The potter thanked the wise saint and went home happily with his donkey.
