Day-48 Class 3-5 We Love Reading: తెలుగు కథ :బుద్ధి చెప్పిన తమ్ముడు!
సీతాపురంలో సోమయ్య అనే రైతు ఉండేవాడు. సోమయ్యకి ఇద్దరు కొడుకులు. చనిపోయే ముందు ఒక మామిడి చెట్టు, ఒక ఆవును ఇచ్చి, "మీరిద్దరూ వీటిని పంచు కోండి అని చెప్పి" కన్నుమూశాడు.
పెద్దకొడుకు తెలివైనవాడు కాని అత్యా శపరుడు, చిన్నకొడుకు అమాయకుడు.
పెద్దకొడుకు, చిన్న కొడుకుతో "తమ్ముడు! నాన్న ఇచ్చిన వస్తువులను మనం సమానంగా పంచుకుందాం. చెట్టు పై భాగం నాది. కింది భాగం నీది. ఆవు ముందు భాగం నీది, వెనుక భాగం నాది" అని చెప్పాడు. అమాయకుడైన తమ్ముడు తన అన్నయ్య చేసిన మోసాన్ని గ్రహించలేకపోయాడు. సరే అన్నాడు.
చెట్టు కింద భాగం తమ్మునిది కాబట్టి దానికి నీళ్ళు పోసే పని తమ్ముడిది. పై భాగం అన్నయ్యది కాబట్టి పళ్ళను అమ్మిన డబ్బులు అన్నయ్య తీసుకు నేవాడు. ఆవు ముందు భాగం తమ్ముడిది కాబట్టి ఆవుకు మేత పెట్టేపని తమ్మునిది.
ఆవు వెనుక భాగం అన్నయ్యది కాబట్టి పాలను అమ్మి డబ్బులు తీసుకునే అర్హత అన్నయ్యది. తమ్ముడికి డబ్బులు, పండ్లు, పాలు ఏది ఇచ్చే వాడు కాదు. తమ్ముడికి అన్నయ్య చేసిన మోసం తెలిసొచ్చింది. అన్నయ్యకు బుద్ధి చెప్పాలనుకున్నాడు.
ఒకరోజు ఆవుకు మేత పెట్టడం మానేశాడు. అన్నయ్య పాలు పిండుతుండగా ఆవును కొట్టాడు. ఆవు పాలు పిండుతున్న అన్నయ్యను తన్నింది.
అన్నయ్య కోపగించుకోగా తమ్ముడు "ఆవు ముందు భాగం నాది కాబట్టి నేను దాని ముందు కాళ్ళనే కొట్టాను" అన్నాడు. తరువాత గొడ్డలితో మామిడి చెట్టును కొట్టడం మొదలుపెట్టాడు.
అన్నయ్య విచారించగా "చెట్టు కింది భాగం నాది కాబట్టి, నా ఇష్టం" అన్నాడు. అన్నయ్యకు బుద్దిచ్చింది. తను చేసింది తప్పు అని గ్రహించి, వచ్చిన ఆదాయాన్ని తమ్ముడికి సమానంగా పంచడం మొదలుపెట్టాడు.

As per the arrangement, the younger brother had to take care of the lower part of the tree and feed the cow's front part. Meanwhile, the elder brother took money from selling the tree's fruits and the cow's milk without sharing anything.
When the younger brother discovered the deception, he decided to teach his elder brother a lesson. He stopped feeding the cow, and when the elder brother tried to milk it, the cow kicked him. The younger brother explained, "I only hit the front legs of the cow, which belongs to me."
To further make his point, he began chopping the mango tree with an axe. The elder brother, realizing his mistake, admitted, "The lower part of the tree is mine, so I should care for it." This taught the elder brother a lesson in fairness, and he started sharing the income equally with his younger brother.
