చీమ- మిడత
ఒక అడవిలో ఓ జీవనది పారుతోంది. అక్కడ జంతువులన్నీ ఆనందంగా ఉన్నాయి. అసలే ఎండాకాలం. ఆహారం కోసం ఎవరి తిప్పలు వారివి.

ఒక అడవిలో ఓ జీవనది పారుతోంది. అక్కడ జంతువులన్నీ ఆనందంగా ఉన్నాయి. అసలే ఎండాకాలం. ఆహారం కోసం ఎవరి తిప్పలు వారివి.

అయితే ఓ కష్టజీవి మాత్రం ప్రతిరోజూ పొలంలోకి వెళ్లి బియ్యం గింజలను తీసుకొస్తూంది. ఒక రోజు దారి మధ్యలో మిడత కనిపించింది. అది కూడా పాటలు పాడుతూ. ‘కష్టపడకు. నాతో వచ్చి పాడు. డ్యాన్స్‌ చేయి. మూర్ఖపు చీమా!’ అంటూ పాట పాడుతూనే అవహేళన చేసింది.

చీమ పట్టించుకోలేదు. పైగా తన పనిని మానుకోలేదు. మళ్లీ పొలంలోకి వెళ్లి గింజలు తెస్తూనే ఉంది. అలసటే లేదా? అనేంతగా బియ్యాన్ని మోస్తూ ఉంది.

పది రోజుల తర్వాత కూడా చీమ కష్టపడుతోంది. మిడత మాత్రం దొరికింది తిని హాయిగా నిద్రపోతోంది. పగలు పాటలు పాడుతోంది. చీమ సలహాలనూ పట్టించుకోలేదు.

ఇంతలో వానాకాలం రానే వచ్చింది. బయటికి వెళ్దామంటే జోరువాన. తిండి దొరకలేదు. మిడతకు కష్టాలు మొదలయ్యాయి. పస్తులు ఉంటోంది. పాటలు పాడటం మానేసింది. దిగులుగా ఉంది. రోజంతా తిండి లేదు. నీరసం వచ్చింది.

ఇంతలో చటుక్కున చీమ గుర్తుకొచ్చింది. గుర్తుకొచ్చిన తడవే చీమ ఇంటికి వెళ్లింది. చీమగారూ.. అంటూ మిడతా ఇంట్లోకి అడుగెట్టిందో లేదో హాయిగా పాటలు పాడుతోంది చీమ.

మిడత తలదించుకుంది. సిగ్గుపడింది. ‘నేను పెద్ద తప్పు చేశా. పాటలు పాడుతూ ఇతరులను కించపరచకూడదని తెలిసింది. నీ అంత ముందు చూపు లేదు. ఆకలితో ఉన్నా. దయచేసి సాయం చేయి’ అన్నది. ‘అలా అనకు. తప్పు తెలుసుకున్నావు.

నా ఇంట్లోనే కాదు నా మిత్రుల ఇంట్లో కూడా బోలెడంత ధాన్యం ఉంది. వాన తగ్గేంత వరకూ ఈ రాతికిందనే ఉండు’ అంటూ ఓ రాయిని చూపించింది.

చీమకు ధన్యవాదాలు చెప్పింది. ఆ తర్వాత మిడత ఇలా పాటలు పాడటం, ఖాళీగా గడపటం మరెన్నడూ చేయలేదు.

చీమ చెప్పిన పాఠం మిడత ఆనందానికి కారణమైంది. ముందుచూపుతోనే అది సాధ్యమైంది.

Day-24 Class 6-9 We Love Reading: English Story: Frog and Mouse

This is the of The Frog and The Mouse Story. Once the frog and mouse were friends. The frog would come out of the pond daily and come under the tree where his friend rat lived.

Once there was a fight between a frog and a rat as the rat never attempted to meet the frog.

One time, the frog went to the rat, bound the rat’s tail with a rope, and tied the other end of the rope to his leg. Then the frog jumped into the river.

The rat also fell into the river as the rope was tied with the rat. The rat did not know how to swim in the river.

The rat tried hard to get out of the river but failed and eventually died. Now the body of the dead rat was floating above the water.

However, the rat’s dead body was tied to the string, and the other end was tied to the frog’s leg

At the same time, an eagle came there, and he saw the dead body of the rat floating above the water. The hawk went to the rat’s dead body and blew it with its claws.

As soon as the eagle took the rat’s body up into the air, the frog also dragged into the air as the round rope was tied in the frog’s leg.

Now the frog was also flying in the air with the eagle. The frog tried hard to get out of the rope but failed, and eventually, he died in the air.
