Day-31 Class 3-5 We Love Reading: తెలుగు కథ : నూతిలో నెలవంక
ఒ రోజు రాత్రి పూట ఆ పాలేరుకి దాహం వేసింది. మంచినీళ్ళు తాగుదామని నూతి దెగ్గిరకి వెళ్ళాడు. నూతిలోంచి నీళ్ళు తోడుదామని తాడుకి బిందె కట్టి, నీళ్ళల్లోకి దింపుతుంటే నీళ్ళల్లో చంద్రుడి ప్రతిబింబం కనిపించింది.
“అయ్యో! నూతిలో చంద్రుడు పడిపోయాడు!” అని పాలేరు అనుకున్నాడు. ఎలాగైనా చంద్రుడిని నీళ్ళల్లోంచి తీసి మళ్ళీ ఆకాశం లోకి పంపించాలి అనుకున్నాడు.
బిందె మళ్ళీ మళ్ళీ నూతిలోకి దింపి నీళ్ళు తీస్తూనే వున్నాడు. కాని చంద్రుడి ప్రతిబింబం నూతిలోనే వుంది, బైటికి రావటం లేదు.
చివరికి ఇన్ని సార్లు తాడుని కిందకి పైకి లాగడంతో తాడు ఠప్పు మని తెగి బిందె నీళ్ళల్లో పడి పోయింది. ఒకటే సారి తాడు తెగడంతో పాలేరుకూడా వెనక్కి పడ్డాడు.
వెన్నుమీద పడ్డ పాలేరు దృష్టి ఆకాశం వైపుకి వెళ్ళింది. పైన చూస్తే నెలవంక ఉండవలసిన చోటులో ఉంది.
పాలేరు తనే కష్టపడి నూతిలోంచి నెలవంకని మళ్ళీ ఆకాశం లోకి చేర్చాడని చాలా సంతోష పడ్డాడు!
ఆ తరువాత ఆ పాలేరు చాలా మందికి ఈ విషయం చెప్పాడు. కానీ అందరు “వెర్రి పాలేరు!” అనుకుని నవ్వి ఊరుకున్నారు. ఎవ్వరూ అతనికి నిజం చెప్పలేదు!
