Day-40 Class 3-5 We Love Reading: తెలుగు కథ : గాడిద - గుర్రం

రామయ్య అనే వ్యాపారి సరుకులను గాడిద మీద పెట్టుకుని తన గుర్రం ఎక్కి పొరుగూరు వెళుతున్నాడు.

కొంత సేపటికి బరువు మోస్తున్న గాడిదకు ఆయాసం వచ్చి కొంత బరువును మోయమని గుర్రాన్ని అడిగింది. గుర్రం అది నా బాధ్యతకాదు, బరువులు మోయటానికి నువ్వు, సుఖంగా జీవించడానికి నేను అన్నది.

బరువు మోయలేని గాడిద నడుము విరిగి క్రిందపడింది. వెంటనే వ్యాపారి గాడిదను అక్కడే వదలి, ఆ బరువు మొత్తాన్ని గుర్రం పై వేసి తనూ ఎక్కి ప్రయాణం సాగించాడు.

ఆ కొంచం బరువును ముందే మోస్తే నాకు ఈ గాడిద బరువు తప్పేది కదా! అని గుర్రం మనసులో బాధపడింది.

నీతి: బరువు పంచుకుంటే బతుకు భారం తగ్గుతుంది.

Day-40 Class 3-5 We Love Reading: English : A Donkey and A Horse

A merchant named Ramayya was riding his horse with his goods on a donkey, heading to neighbour village. After some time, the donkey, which was carrying the load, got tired and asked the horse to share some of the luggage.

The horse replied, "It is not my responsibility to carry luggage; you are meant for that, and I am here to live comfortably."

Unable to bear the weight, the donkey broke its back and fell down. Immediately, the merchant abandoned the donkey, moved all the weight to the horse, and continued his journey. Reflecting on the situation, the horse realised, "If only I had shared that little weight earlier, I wouldn't have lost the donkey!"

The horse, feeling sad, learned a lesson.

Moral: Sharing the burden makes life less burdensome.
